Show Notes

Question 1: Can you explain what it means when Minimizer tortures its products?

Put products through wear tests at testing facilities, to simulate a certain amount of years of constant usage, in a few days.

Question 2: What materials do you make your floor mats out of and why do you make them with those materials?

A proprietary blend of Poly and rubber. It’s made out of these to not only create a comfortable mat, but also a durable one.

Question 3: What is involved in the engineering side to ensure that each floor mat you sell fits perfectly in the truck it was designed for?

The cabs are laser measured. The floor mats also have mold lines built into them, which you can cut with a utility knife if your truck has any additional accessories to go around.

Question 4: Your customers obviously are willing to pay a premium price to buy the best product on the market, what is the cost of going with a cheaper product?

You get what you pay for. There is a substantial difference in the forming process, material, and durability. Going with cheaper products can end up costing you more in the long run.

Question 5: Commercial trucks see the toughest conditions, no matter how careful a driver is they are going to track mud and other debris into the truck. We know your floor mats are tough but how easy are they to clean?

It could not be easier. You pull it out, power wash it, and put it back in.

Question 6: Minimizer manufactures other products; can you give us an overview of the other products you manufacture for commercial trucks and trailers?

Many different products over 3 different categories: On the truck (fenders, brackets, fast flaps, etc.), in the truck (floor mats, truck seats, and mattresses), and fix the truck (workbenches, toolboxes).

Question 7: If there is one thing you want the listeners to take away from today’s conversation, what is that one thing?

Minimizer is a down to earth company, with real people, and honored to be part of the trucking industry with their nice products they’re proud of.
