Will the supply chain catch up in 2022 or will we see further issues with getting enough parts?
The outlook for the production of commercial trucks in 2022 remains very similar to 2021 – constrained.
We know the story, the pandemic came and shut down manufacturing in 2020, this caused the supply chain to get backed up, then we had a series of events that further slowed delivery of critical parts.
But the part of the story we don’t talk about is the role the stimulus money provided by the US and Canadian governments has played in this supply chain crunch and it isn’t going to get any better in 2022.
