Breaking News: Canadian Federal Government Has New Mandate as of January 15, 2022, that affects unvaccinated truck drivers.

The approaching federal vaccine mandate will come into effect on January 15, 2022, and this will mean that unvaccinated truck drivers are going to find it very difficult to cross the border if they can at all.

Early in the pandemic, truck drivers were held in high regard as “everyday heroes” and while the land border was closed to citizens, truck drivers were allowed to cross because they were deemed “essential to keep the supply chains flowing.”

This new mandate is the first policy measure taken since the pandemic began that could limit cross-border trucking traffic.
