HDA Truck Pride has announced the six semi-finalists of its Top Tech Competition for the fifth year in a row!
Top Tech Semi-Finalists
The competition started with a 50-question written exam, and the six highest scores advanced to the Maryland Motor Truck Association’s SuperTech qualifier, which will take place at the end of June. These six semi-finalists were selected after a close competition that came down to a tiebreaker.
They are Eric Curler and Brian Judy from RT &T Repair in East Dubuque, IL, Joel Maassen, Garrett Olson, and Joel England from Vander Haag’s in Sioux Falls, SD, and Jack Metzger from Vander Haag’s in Kansas City.
Two of the top contenders will go on to the TMCSuperTech competition in Cleveland, Ohio, in September, where they will compete with other industry top technicians in a hands-on competition for prize packages worth over $8,000.
